The Academic Support reading intervention is a multi sensory reading class that takes place of an elective. This class is designed for students on an IEP. Reading instruction incorporates: Orton Gillingham Yoshimoto, Reading Remedies from Dr. Barbara Wise, as well as Susan Barton. This class also uses Reading plus stories. Reading outside of class(at home) is an expectation for this class throughout the class.
